Paul and Jason will be heading to the SNORE MINT 400 March 25-26 to help out fellow Fire Guys Racing teammate Mark Murrell and his class 11.
Marks race recap-
"I had a fun MINT 400 weekend with my friends in the Nevada desert! Check out the highlight video from Race-dezert.com ,showing my FireGuys bug rumbling along during the 1st lap when things were good (prior to the little rocker arm issue that turned a very low horsepower car into a lower one!) We made it 235 miles out of 300. HUGE thanks to SIMCO, VIGIL, SCHMUESER, SCHIFANELLI, FIREGUYS teams that spent many hours"

FIRE GUYS RACING TAKES 2ND PLACE IN CLASS 7S!Jason Hutter started the racing off with his girlfriend riding shot gun for the first time in a race. At the end of the 4 laps Fire Guys Racing settled into a 5th place finish. On Sunday It was Paul Blangsted's turn behind the wheel with Jason "Fuzzy" Harvey riding shot gun. With his masterful driving skills and the precision that was coming from the co-driver seat the Fire Guys were able to move up to 2nd place and finish 2nd for the weekend!!
In the 1450 (sportsman truck) the story was electrical gremlins. Both days ended in DNF's. We will be working on a re-wire of the truck thanks to Jason Harvey and AJ Argento of Eco Performance Automotive.
Thanks to all who came out to support us!!
VIDEOS OF THE RACE: some foul language.
